Great Plains Inspection (GPI) opened for business in
1995 with two goals. First and foremost was to provide a cost-effective
service to the Kansas oil and gas producers. Producing oil and gas is
an expensive process for many reasons, with equipment failure being one
of those reasons. Because of the corrosive environment in wells and
the continued movement of rods inside the tubing, these two items,
tubing and rods, are a major cause of lost production and repair costs.
Electromagnetic Inspection (EMI) has been a proven technology for many
years in the fight to hold down expenses in the production of oil and gas.
Our second goal was to assist our sister company,
Butterfly Supply, in
providing better products for their ag customers. We have the equipment
to clean, straighten and repair tubing and rods. This makes for a better
product for fence builders.
God has blessed us with good employees and loyal customers. We say
"Thank You" to both for helping GPI to prosper and grow.
If you have never used EMI as a tool to enhance your production, please
call and we can arrange a plant tour and explain our services.
